Ann Victoria Roberts
Born in York and married to a Master Mariner, Ann Victoria Roberts has travelled widely aboard merchant ships and now lives in Southampton. She is the author of five historical novels, inspired by the lives of people as diverse as her great-grandmother, a WW1 soldier, Bram Stoker, and Captain Smith of the Titanic. Love in its many forms, and the effects of the past upon the present are linking themes. The first editions of Louisa Elliott and Liam’s Story were international bestsellers – reissued in 2014 for their 25th anniversary and the centenary of WW1.
When she is not writing, Ann enjoys painting – and travelling around Europe by motorhome.
