Legacy of Secrets

Picture
Legacy of Secrets is a touching time-slip romance, set in a beautiful Irish coastal setting, home to drama, mystery, magic and love.

Octavia Griffin hates change, so when her beloved brother – whose children she
helps care for − announces that the whole family is leaving London to run a hotel in the Scottish Highlands, she’s distraught.

No wonder he kept subscribing her to upmarket dating agencies, needing her to be in a relationship so that he wouldn’t have to worry she’d be left alone. And with her boss selling up, she’s also about to lose the job she loves. Unsurprisingly, she finds herself at the barrier for her daily train, so panic-stricken that she’s frozen to the spot.

Then out of the blue, a letter arrives detailing a mysterious inheritance and summoning her to Ireland. If she wasn’t so incredibly sensible, she might think the fates were taking a hand in her destiny.

Dashing Flight Lieutenant Ronan Finch is in trouble. Test-piloting an RAF seaplane on Loch Ness, he finds himself crawling from the wreckage, having crash-landed near a picturesque harbour town on Ireland’s ancient east coast.

But it’s the wrong place, at the wrong time. The seaplane was designed to help win the war and when Ronan took flight, London was in the grip of the Blitz. Now all he wants is to go back to finish the job, and find Lana, the woman he promised to protect.

Octavia and Ronan are two troubled souls, cast adrift from all they love and are familiar with; a situation in need of serious magic. Fortunately, they find a guide in Jerome Nightingale - a wizard under pressure; he has a legacy to pass on and an immovable deadline. But his heiress will need convincing, unaware she’s a ‘Moonchild’ with a special destiny to fulfil.

Enter a solid sisterhood of local women, well-practised in the art of harnessing the ‘old ways’ for better or worse …
